Webinar With CADM
Vision was proud to partner with the Chicago Association of Direct Marketing (CADM) in recently presenting a free webinar entitled, “QR Codes: Connecting and Improving Multichannel Marketing Campaigns.” We covered basic information on the technology of QR codes, how they can be used in making print interactive and successful case stories featuring QR codes, as well as some tips on getting into the QR code game. At Vision, industry trends and cutting edge technology is a priority, as well as keeping you informed of the multitude of marketing opportunities we offer. The webinar was a great success, and we thank CADM for collaborating with us!
Meet Matt Ruggio, application developer:
As part of Vision's focus on technology, we've hired Matt Ruggio as lead application developer. He'll guide architecture and design as we develop applications for Vision and for our clients.
Matt offers a strong entrepreneurial background, having launched an electronic healthcare records company in 2003. He graduated at the top of his class with a master's degree in computer science from DePaul University in 2008 while also launching a web and e-mail hosting and development company. Our industry has seen enormous change in a short time, Matt says.
"I'm looking forward to offering clients solutions that take advantage of these changes to get measurable results."
New barcode benefits start now:
In May 2011, the U.S. Postal Service will require that Postnet barcodes be replaced by Intelligent Mail barcodes (IMb) on outgoing and reply mail to qualify for automation discounts. Consider moving to this next-generation technology now. For more information on Intelligent Mail barcodes, visit http://ribbs.usps.gov.
The IMb on the right mailpiece combines data from five sources on the left, for a more compact, cleaner look that gives you more "real estate."
Recognize this image? It's a QR Code!
These codes, short for Quick Response Codes, have the ability to hold all sorts of relevant information. Simply scan a code with a smart phone by taking a picture, and you could be led to a landing page, event invitation, map, video, company website... the possibilities are endless! The use of mobile marketing is rapidly increasing, and it seems almost everyone has their cell phone glued to their hands. Why not market your message so it's as easily accessible as possible? QR Codes can be placed on almost anything, from a business card to large format signage. Contact us for more details about QR Codes and how you can use them in your next project.
