Doug Powell, CEO

Leading the company in strategic program selling to enterprise customers, Doug’s experience in the graphic arts field began as the founder of Award Graphics in 1985. After a number of strategic acquisitions, Award Graphics became Award Vision and, in 2005, was re-branded as Vision Integrated Graphics as part of the merger with Alpha Beta Press. Doug is a former district manager for Union Carbide Corporation. He is a graduate of The University of Kansas School of Business where he received his BS in Business Administration.

Steve Smits, President

Presiding over Tinley Park operations, several major enterprise accounts and the financial aspects of the business, Steve Smits held a position with an international public accounting firm for eight years before starting his own Chicago-based CPA firm. After four years of providing financial and tax consulting services to Alpha Beta Press, he became an owner, purchasing part of the company in 1990. In 2005, Steve purchased the rest of the company and merged it with Award/Vision to form Vision Integrated Graphics. He is a graduate of The University of Wisconsin where he received an undergraduate degree in Mathematics and an MBA in Accounting. Steve is also a Certified Public Accountant.
